Question it has 8 outlets on the back and 1 on the front if a hook up my AVR, 3 channel amp, Oppo 105, my Tv, both subs, and a turntable, will they all be equally protected? I know it can accommodate 9 pieces of equipment, but is that running to much on it and would I want to throw another one in the mix? All answers are appreciated, I just want the best protection for my gear.

Steve, personal recommendation, connect the amp to a separate circuit if possible but barring that, plug the amp directly into the wall outlet and not via the surge suppressor.

Yes, the protection is equal for everything plugged into it. Think of it this way; your buying a really expensive, high-tech fuse. Since this fuse is between line voltage and all gear plugged into it, get a power surge and fuse blows. The circuit from line voltage to gear is now open. All loads are disconnected, so all are equally protected.

I have a receptacle close to the one where the Panamax is I could put the amp in that one with a decent plug in wall surge I see Panamax does offer those types. Thanks for the answers.
