SeekingSuggestions for Mounting Polk RT-5 Speakers with Mounts Sustended from Ceiling

I have two RT-5 bookshelf speakers that serve as the right & left front channels for my home theater system. I would like to move these speakers further to the front and suspend them from a plaster ceiling. I can find plenty of mounts but am not sure how best to attach the speakers to the mounts because I do not want to degrade speaker performance or frequency response. Any suggestions?
