Hi, looking for some advice on speaker choices
I have a HK 500 for a stereo and just purchased
a pair of rti150s for the front, now looking for
some rear speakers was told not to purchase
another set of 150s because it was over kill
for my system. I also have a klipsch model 25
center channel which sounds great and a 12in
JBL sub. Would you buy the 150s or 70s or
the bookshelf models for rear speakers. I can
buy a brand new set of rti70s for 450.00 a set
or buy the 150s for 400.00 a set. Any advice
for me would be great. Thanks Griff

IF you had a seperate amp (>200W/channel) I would absolutely go for the 150's (If you could have 4 150's going to their fullest, your sub would have nothing to do except take load off of your amp)

IF you are running them off of the reciever and plan to set all the speakers to small anyway, I would look at the RTi38's or if your not into multi-channel music, also look into the FXi50's

i think u meant fxi50, rti50s dont exist, and an rti series speaker would be good for music, the fx series is better for movies.
