Experience with Consumer Cellular?

I've been with Verizon for years and I'm tired of paying their prices. They have good coverage, but we're paying ~ $150/month. Consumer Cellular gets stellar customer service ratings, requires no contracts and you can buy phones (including iPhones) on interest free payment plans.
My only question is how good is their coverage, since they use the ATT network? I've not read any complaints about their coverage, but ATT typically gets low marks for theirs.
Can anyone here chime in with their experience?
Thanks!

Great question, as I'm in the exact same boat. They were rated the best pre-pay/pay as you go provider by a wide margin by Consumer Reports, but I have no idea bout their coverage.
I'm looking to switch from Verizon as well. Hopefully we get some good news here.2007 Club Polk Football Pool Champ

Maybe this is an ignorant response, but wouldn't the answer be that the coverage in your area will be the same as At&T's coverage in your area? In my area the coverage is excellent, so this is an interesting possibility...Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

I too have had Tracfone for more than 5yrs no complaints here just upgraded to their Android ZTE 665c it uses Verizon network, which my last TF didn't. My son just went from contract Verizon to 50.00mo prepaid verizon phone unlimited everything for 50.00 a month he's very happy also. -

Not always sometimes phones like he is asking about use older towers. This is very true of Boost Mobil they use older Sprint towers and on weekends can get overwhelmed to the point you cannot make calls for hours.
