CRS+ with Mono blocks

So I strapped the negative terminals of my B&K M200 Sonata mono blocks and plugged them into the CRS+'s... Nothing exploded. I couldn't discern any loss in quality, in fact, I noticed just the opposite. Everything opened up, the bass was better, I'm liking what I'm hearing.

Is it safe to say I'm good to go with this setup? Also, I know the consensus is the AI-1 makes things sound better but after hearing this I'm wondering what I could gain? Is it just safer to have in place?

Thanks gents!

depends on how low they dip and how your amps like that to be honest. To be honest I never though that you could strap true monos at the negatives

I've been running it for a few hours and can't detect any stress anywhere, and I've cranked it. Should I back off and not risk damaging anything?

Like everything else in this hobby, you don't know until you do it, then it slaps you in the face. Thinking you've reached the pinnacle in this hobby is lying to yourself. All you can do is reach nirvana - a place where you're simply happy with your rig.

You went deep with that DSkip, and I like it.

Alright, I'm in talks with Trey about getting an A1 built.

Good move - I'm using a common ground stereo amp and the AI-1 (Dreadnought) improved sound quality noticeably. I think you'll like it.

They can be as long as the output stage is not a bridged/ balanced configuration. The negative speaker output terminals must be at ground potential.
