Paid $500 for mine in pristine condition with the 4 tweeters upgraded to the RDO-194's and the crossovers rebuilt with sonicaps and mills resistors. -
Depending on how bad, $150-$250.

According to the seller, (who does not know anything about SDA speakers, these belonged to his brother), there is something wrong with the right speaker. He thought the "large woofer" was not working. He was talking about the passive radiator. It looks like the side panels have come loose. The asking price is $100. Great. I will for sure need some advice on how to fix them. I am on the way home from picking up the 2.3tl's and am planning to drive to New Jersey to pick up the 1C's tomorrow. It is a long way and would not do it except that my son lives in Rhode Island and we have not seen him in awhile. Got'em for $100. Look good except for fabric panels. Will not know until I get home about the drivers. The drivers look good and the cabinets seem to be air tight. One MW6510 driver was bad. Ordered on today along with 4 RDO194 tweeters. Even paying a good price it will not take long to have more in these than I can get back. But that is OK. I think you're GROSSLY underestimating the value of those. RDO 194s, upgraded crossovers, Black Hole 5, Dynamat, Larry's rings, and those 1Cs will not only be a great bargain, but will also be great speakers!

I am one of the few who are not fond of the 1C's but you got a great deal on them. Even I would have jumped on that. Baught my first pair if 1C's for $200 after spending $225 on my first SDA's; a pair of 2A's. thinking the 1C's would be a big jump up I made arrangement sto pick them up while on a business trip. Was very disapointed in them, thoroughly checked them out and then sold them for $500. Picked up my second pair for $225 due to the price. Would like to use those parts to build a pair of SRS 2's as i am coming to the conclusion that i may never find a pair of those to try.
Great buy and I hope you enjoy them more than i did.If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of Progress?!
