Bad Situation Needs Public Airing

I just had to e-mail a member, and tell him the deal is off. It's Spasticpitbull, and he may have even sent me a money order already. For a lot of money.

My neighbor Dean wanted to sell his Denon 3801 cause he bought a B & K receiver. After a lot of trial and tribulation he gave me the final go ahead to sell it to Spastic. By this point, Spastic may have even sent me a money order. Well, Dean (who really is a good guy) JUST e-mailed me to say he can't live with the B & K, and that he won't be parting with the Denon. Short of going over there and kidnapping the Denon, it looks as if I will be sending a money order to Spastic in the amount of the purchase, plus a little extra for time, effort, and heartbreak.

I wanted to publicly air this for Spastic's benefit. This is a nice guy who MAY have a large number money order made out to me, enroute to me, and I just e-mailed him to say the deal is off.

Please accept my apologies for the whole affair, I will ensure you don't lose a dime due to the confusion.

Don't worry, it probably has happened to all of us at one time or another.I got 100% respect for those who have the guts to at least tell the other person up front what is going on.He's getting his money back and maybe something else for his time. That in my book is good enough.:) You did the right thing

Thanks CC, and HBomb. Most of all thanks to Spastic. It's a shame that even with the goodwill and all, a less than perfect situation remains less than perfect. And Dean still has $2,500 worth of B & K receiver that he doesn't like, and the store won't take back.

    George:

You're not hiding the fact that things took a wrong turn and the deal is off. Spaz will probably be a little disappointed, but he'll understand. You're a great guy and we all love ya!

Atleast you and your neighbor are not going behind his back and trying to screw him, hmmmmm! Not mentioning names...

George, it's very honorable of you to own up the situation. It's vey comforting to know we have such a great group of members.

Spastic, here is a link to a 3802 (which is a newer model of 3801) price is comparable and obo. I have no affil. to the seller, just a fyi..

Well thanks to everybody....... except that phony friend John Strong, who has never once invited me down to BalTEEmore for a long weekend, so I can meet his co-workers at the strip club. I never liked you Strong. You're not my friend. You MIGHT be my friend if you invite me down, AND fix me up with one of the debs. It also might take a couple trips to really see (if you're my friend).

    George,

Looks like the record has been set straight here. Good to come out in the open on it and STUFF happens sometimes that is beyond our control.
And Dean still has $2,500 worth of B & K receiver that he doesn't like

What are we talking about here the AVR 307? What's the problem with it or what doesn't he like about it? That was the easiest reciever I have ever set up. Didn't even read the instructions. Takes a couple of weeks to break in too. It is a lot of dough however.

Oh man, I just got busted right on the chin by George!

Ok, let this be the official invitation to everyone out there. I DJ pretty much every Saturday night (besides a few other nights) from 7 - 2 am.

Below is a link for our clubs website. Directions are on there. This coming Thurs - Saturday we have a smokin hot latina **** star featuring. Hell yeah, 34 DDD boinkers!!! Our regular lineup of girls is awesome! George, I know how you are with Jenny McCarthy, so I can probably recommend a girl there named Shannon to step in as a substitute for Jenny while you're visiting. Long straight natural blonde hair, 34 D's, and the most amazing body and face to go along with them. You WILL be happy!

The pics of the girls on the website don't even come close to what we actually have. For some reason, most of them don't want to be on there. Actually, Lauren is smokin hot. Those pics don't do her justice! Most of the pics on the site don't do any of them justice.

Enjoy and hope to see you guys there!

George, I love ya man! ;)

Just wondering how to properly deal with this case using a money order. Spas can't cancel it or cash it if you send it back (I don't think) so what would you do, cash it and send another back? I ran into this once but we ended up making the deal anyway.

Just came across this thread...It wasnt really that big a deal. These things do happen. Luckly i was real busy and couldnt get the MO off on time so no real harm done. George is a class A guy for wanting to go above and beyond. BTW i ordered a Denon 1082 for about the same. Should have in 2 weeks.

Thanks anyway George. wouldnt hesitate at all from buying from/through you. Whats your buddy gonna do with that B&K...I'll still send this mo i have for it. ;)
