I was wondering if any one knows if I could split the sub-woofer rca out from my Onkyo and use 2 of the Mono Block amps in the 7607 to double the wattage going to 1 sub. single voice coil?

Thoughts?

Thanks

That would be known as "bridging" and the 7607 is not bridgeable as it uses mono amp modules not stereo modules. Sorry but you are better off just using one channel or picking up a dual voice coil sub to use 2 channels.

    Hello,
I'm afraid you can't connect two different amplifiers to the same voice coil, you would short both amplifiers.

my thoughts are that it is ideas like this that keep the repair techs in business....and the audio shops too...better re think what you are doing man...no offense intended....
