Do any of you happen to live in or near Buffalo NY. I am communicating with the seller concerning the above speakers. The communication has been a bit spotty. I am hoping that someone has knowledge concerning this particular pair of speakers or this seller. I am interested in these but it is about a 10 hour drive for me. I would even be willing to pay a small fee to have someone go and take a look at them.

I am stuck by the 100 post rule so I am forced to watch ebay and Craig's list closely for now. A few non SRS versions have popped up but I do not want to settle.

I have been posting some and reading, searching and learning tons. I agree this is a great forum. I have had Polks for along time. I wish I had discovered sooner. I hate to post just for the sake of building up my numbers.

You cant see the "sale" section, but you CAN post in the Wanted section..... thats what I would do.

Sea, PM Conradicles. You're both in NC. Click on his name and in. The drop down menu send him a PM. I think you'd be happy with his set and not have the drive to Buffalo.

Mine in NC and they will be missed!

When we move into our new home, hopefully I will have another spare room for a dedicated audio room and build a new 2-channel system.

Sorry I did not make it clear which pair. It was a no brainer to buy from Conradicles. He is a club member and he is 2 hours from me vs 11.

Sea- I got your pm. This pair belonged to me before Conradicles and I still kick myself for ever selling them. They are wonderful and with upgrades could be in an entirely new league. I wish I had the money to buy them back but it just wasn't possible at this time. IF you ever decide to sell them for whatever reason, please give me a heads up and I'll try my best to find a way to bring these back to TN.

Congrats Sea! They're truly great speakers, though I have to say you won't know how great till you mod 'em.

I know. I want to listen to them as is for several months so that I will have a good baseline before I start upgrading them. I hope I can wait that long. I have a pair RTA12c's that I want to refurbish first.

I've modded both. I use my 2.3TL's in my 2 channel system and the 12C's as the front L-R mains in my HT. Can't imagine moving on from either they sound so good.
