regarding that profile amp

whats is the difference between CA640 & CL460 models, same rms pushed out.. is it just a cosmetic difference in the looks or is there other differences I should know about.

    From what I can tell, the difference between the Clarus and California series amps amounts to this:

    California series has plated contacts and a 0-12 db bass boost network

    Clarus series has gold contacts and 0-18 db bass boost.


    All the other specs match. I think the Clarus line has a few more models in it. Otherwise, I can't justify paying more for the same amp.

    in your opinion is that minor difference worth the extra 10/20 dollars or is it so minor that it wouldnt be worth it.
