This looks really encouraging! Hopefully this is finally it, the definitive Beatles vinyl. The original British albums, mixed 100% analog using all vintage equipment. And all pressed in Germany.

When they put the stereo set out, they used the digital masters from the 2009 set, and many U.S. residents were ordering from Amazon UK in order to get the German pressings, because they apparently sounded much better than the US pressings.

I was not a fan of the stereo vinyl they put out a few years ago. I thought the box set itself was amazing - the box, the book, the cover art, every last detail was stellar. Right up until I dropped the needle.

For this set I will be a bit more patient and wait to hear the reviews of it before I placed my order. The last set I pre-ordered and returned.

Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Sometimes it's okay to be going deaf. Lot of would be deci$ion$ just about get made for you. No reason here for another copy of "When I'm Sixty-four" when I'm 64. It's hard to tell the difference between the recordings. On a bad day I can't tell the difference between it and the song before it.

Here we go again. I got Abbey Road LP, the digital mastered from the 2009 set. Didn't much care for it. Then I got "With The Beatles" from Amazon UK that sounds better. And like you nspindel I will be waiting for reviews on these.

I don't think that you can compare stereo vs. mono
As I stated a U.K. White album in mono is expensive.
John Lennon felt it was the only way to listen to that album.

Buy it or don't it's a personal choice.

I have The White Album in first press UK mono and stereo. I think the number on my mono is fairly low, around 60,000. Superb. But I'm happy to have this box set be the version I actually play, rather than the antiques. If they're doing it all analog on vintage gear, it has the potential of being a masterpiece release. I was so let down with the stereo vinyl, I hope the reason this took so much longer is that they were doing the job that this deserves.
