I just ordered a Digital Camera.

Refurbed, $299CDN from Futureshop. Good deal I think. :)

Can't wait to post a few pics. That'll be in couple of weeks though.

I've heard a lot of good things about the model. We got our digital camera last year and love it for everyday snapshots and gatherings.

    Good bargain !

    Canon has great optics.

Bought mine from F.S. last summer and I thought I had a deal ?!

Prices for digital cameras has really come down !

Don't forget about a charger and rechargeable batteries as some models don't include them !

Got an Olympus. It was a choice between the canon and the olympus. The canon was more expensive at the time and reviews were about the same. It was a gift so I wasn't exactly going to complain. :)

I second begbie's suggestion. Get some extra niMh's and a charger if your's doesn't come with it.

I have both the A70 (3meg) and the
    A80 (4meg).

Nice, simple to use little cameras that run on AA batteries.

Price seems a little steep for a re-furb.

I bought mine brand new for $299. and that was over a year ago.
