This is a charity auction of audio items generously donated by Matt Polk with the proceeds benefiting the Githens Center, http://www.githenscenter.org/
The auction will run for one week, Friday to Friday. All bids are to be submitted to me via PM. Bid increments are $5.00 or more. For example, no $.52 bids. I will post the high bid on each item at the end of each day. All items sold as is. Shipping charges will be calculated at the end of the auction with the winning bidder responsible for the cost. Local pick up is available. Payment will be via PayPal and 3% will be added to the total. Do not send your payment as a gift. At the end I will announce the grand total and write a check to the Githens Center.
I have been asked if Matt Polk would sign an item for the winning bidder. All I can say at this point is maybe.
You will have the satisfaction and pride of owning a piece of gear that Matt Polk touched and more importantly, the reward of helping make a bunch of lives a little bit better.
~The Auction~
First up we have a set of 5 speakers from the Polk Audio DS7200 system. Condition is brand new in the box. The set includes 4 satellites and one center channel. They have built in crossovers, so they can be used with any gear. Add a sub and you've got a cool little HT rig. We'll start the bidding at $25.00.
Next up is a Denon DVD-2910, plays DVD Audio and Video, SACD and CD. It comes with the original remote and owner's manual, but no power cord or original carton. If the winner requires shipping it will be packed well. Condition, other than a half inch long hairline scratch on the faceplate just to the left of the Denon badge it is flawless. You can't see the mark unless you are up close and personal. We'll start the bidding at $25.00.
Ok, this is a Polk Audio miDock Portfolio in white. It has built in speakers with a built in amp and charges your iPod when docked. Condition is brand new in the box. We'll start the bidding at $10.00.
This is a Sony X707ES CD player. This thing is built like a tank weighing in at 36 lbs! The tray belt has been replaced by me with a genuine Sony part. The player works flawlessly and is extremely quiet. Comes with the original remote and owner's manual, but no carton. If the winner requires shipping it will be packed well. Condition, the top plate has various scuffs, fine scratches and a small nick. The front of the faceplate is perfect while the top has a few fine scratches. The faux rosewood side panels have fine scratches. None of the marks are obvious unless you are up close and personal. Overall it looks very respectable and is a beautiful piece of gear. We'll start the bidding at $200.00.
Next is a DreamVision DreamWeaver One projector in white. This was sent off for a tune up by Matt and never used again, so it is good to go. Comes with the original programmable remote, but no owner's manual (I understand you can get one online) and it has a carton just not the original. Condition is very good with a few small marks. We'll start the bidding at $50.00. Heck, the remote is worth that alone!
Last up we have an iPort FS-5 in white. It charges your iPod, iPod mini or iPod nano when docked, has a built in pre amp, a bunch of cords and wall ports/plates. Condition, brand new in the box. We'll start the bidding at $10.00.
If you have any questions I'll do my best to address them.
Bid often, bid high and good luck.

I am iOS dumb so here is my question. Do those docks work with the current generation of iOS devices, and if so does it work exactly the same (charge device while playing) or a weird variation?
Also a clarification, the DS7200 is the is the speakers ONLY and does not include the preamp/processor that would normally come with it correct?"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Informative post:
The manual for the projector can be found here: http://www.projectorcentral.com/pdf/projector_manual_2166.pdf
Specifications for the projector can be found here: http://www.projectorcentral.com/Dream_Vision-DreamWeaver.htm
Its a nice projector and I spent the last 30 mins trying to figure out some way to make a PJ work in my setup both downstairs and upstairs, but came up empty (stupid ceiling fans)...
Someones going to like it a lot."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -

I am iOS dumb as well. I have no idea how or what they work with. Also a clarification, the DS7200 is the is the speakers ONLY and does not include the preamp/processor that would normally come with it correct?
That is correct, the speakers only.
Thanks for posting the projector info.Political Correctness'.........defined

I may have a chance at the Denon but the Sony seems to be one of those end game CD players I probably won't be able to afford for a while now...but Bid On!!!"Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."
