My thought as well. Probably left off a zero but even for a hundred it's a great deal...

Hey Jon! I repaired it. Striped all the damaged capacitors, circuit boards, and the rest of the innards from the plate.
I ran the woofer wires through the opening of the electrical plug, and hooked it up to my MicroPro2K plate amp remotely!
Sounds ok, but at higher volumes you can hear the dual 12's struggling a bit. So I just have the volume set to where it's not going to damage the drivers!
    Frank.

They sounded pretty good, I already have three of them in my HT, for my fronts and center. I upgraded the crossovers with SonicCaps. The outside of the speakers were okay but the vinyl on the front edging were peeling off badly. So I put these in the HT behind the screen since the cosmetic issues won't be visible. The speakers were black oak. The originals behind the screen were maple.

Off topic. Don't ever buy maple trimmed speakers. As they age, the maple veneer gets darker and yellows. Both maple speakers are darker on one side which was exposed to some sunlight. The same for cherry. I had a pair of KEF 104/2 speakers in cherry. One of them catches the afternoon sun and the veneer noticeably changed colors.
