These guys are in great condition operationally, except for the expected need for refoam on the woofers.
These were the main speaks in a doctors mountain home getaway, not used a hell of a lot as it was not their main home, and he was a jazz and classical guy, not into cranking it much.

They look great except for one grill on the IIs, which cracked on one side, obviously, someone began to pull it loose, and did not go down to the middle posts to tug and pulled back too far from the top.

It has had a piece of wood attached, but it really needs replacing, or just play bare.

Halo71 was going to meet me in Helen Ga. to get the IIs, but has had to back out.

Buyer would have to meet me and or the owner at her place in Helen Ga. to pick up, wish i could pick up and fit these big boys in my vehicle, but I am now awaiting an MRI fri. and i hope to god they see something that would lead to my 3rd back surgery, cause i am done with the pain I have been in.

Dont mean to bring up yet another downer like that, but its just to emphasize how much its taking to dissuade me from getting these sweet speaks myself.

Again, the IIs are 200, the IIIbs are 100.

If i can figure out how to get the pics my sister emailed me from my email to here, i will do so.

And do the RS-II's look like these:

Those are they my friend, and thanks.

It hurts me not to be able to nab one pair, as classic infinitys are one of my faves, and these are excellent examples of two very good models of their stuff.

They are about the same height, but with the large enclosure behind the subs on the IIs, they are really big.

BTW, if you were wondering, the mids have rubber surrounds, should not be any concerns about ever refoaming, at least not for a long time.

God bless you dan, I cant thank you enough for helping a doddering old man across the street, you should be a boy scout,LOL.

These guys had sat in their basement theater room for about a year before she could bear to move any of his beloved gear, so dust, and a slight bit of mildew around the sides was present, but i took a wet cloth and wiped a small area just to make sure it came off, which it did.

BTW, the leather sofa back you see is part of a recliner loveseat with console storage and cupholder, and matching leather recliner set she also wants to sell.

It is literally like new, because of his illness, they almost never sat in it.

There is another recliner i am hoping to get.

I really think 550 dollars could buy the loveseat and matching recliner, and would be a great dal on some beautiful furniture, just sayin.

Hope to get a couple pics on here, but trust me its great stuff.

Scotty, if its not too much work for you, any chance we can get some closer shots of the woofers on the RS-II's. I will gladly post any pics your sis sends (of either speaker), so if shes close just have her take as many as possible of the speakers, the binding posts, etc of both speakers.

Again she can email the pics to me and I will post them for everyone to see.

Especially with regards to the woofer you said was:
both with the usual rotted woofer surrounds, one of the IIs were "repaired" using bubble wrap and some type of brown glue.

Noosh, I dont see shipping happening, barring you paying a company to pick up, box and ship themselves, If i was able to get them hauled and handled, they would b in my living room.

If you want to do the reearch for that with some company, it might happen, as said many times, helen ga. is the general locale, that should give them a starting point to begin.

could not imagine the cost, but if the other 2 prospective buyers fall through and you are willing to pay that we will make it happen.

Gotcha. If its to much of a hardship dont stress it, especially with what you got going on.

Th smith told me if someone came along with cash, and was ready to go get em, he was fine with that.

    Well it has happened.

Dromunds and endershadow are in the process of sending me the money order and making arrangements to come down from hoosierville heaven to pick up both pairs.

Trust me, im envious, wish i had the room, the budget after the sda purchase, and the ability to physically make the trip, not to mention the right room for these beauts.

I love the infinity sound, and these are 2 prime examples of that.

Im glad two great polkies are snagging them, dan has been very kind to deb and i for a long time, and dromunds is one of the guys who came to my rescueafter frying the drivers in one of my 1cs.

God bless and hope you guys will love them.

BTW, they will be getting them in a nissan murano, dan is pretty confident, just hope he has plenty of pillows, blankets, and cardboard boxes to keep them separated while riding back to indy, im sure he will do a fine job.

Dan will be splainin the benefits of this purchase to the little lady tonight, lets bow our heads for a moment of silence, lol.

    Scotty:

It was nice to meet you, hope you got the recliner out of your SUV without hurting yourself.

I finally made it home about midnight last night.

I will be posting some more pics of the speakers here later this week. Some previews:

    IMAG0538.jpg

    IMAG0537.jpg

That Reel to Reel was mighty pretty, but I was too low on cash to make you an offer on it . Wanted it more as a display piece than anything thought.

For now its catchup time at work, then off to a family reunion on Wednesday.
