Upgrading DB6501 to MM6501, should I bother with the tweeters?

Is there any difference between the DB and MM series tweeters? I ask because swapping the woofers is fairly trivial, but the tweeter wiring is run underneath my mat/foam deadening and would require some cutting and patching to swap them out. If they are just the same tweeter with a different casing, then I don't think I'll mess with them.
