Well i took the plunge & attempted to get 8 inches of clear tape off a dust cover. It looked like it was there for years. It took alot of Elbow Grease BUT it came out pretty good for the most part. Now it seems as though there is some cloudy white clouds. Is there anything i can use to clean that with ? Buff out ? Maybe that car headlight buff stuff ? Any thoughts TIA
..

The Novus products (and some time and persistence) will get the job done.
There are how-to guides & threads on teh webs.
Here's one (although it doesn't use the Novus polishes): http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=42972
I think I'd generally start with Goo-Gone for tape residue (even on a dustcover), FWIW.
EDIT: Heh, looky at this thread right here on the Polk forums :-)

Thank you kindly for the suggestions. I will try them. Im thinking the cloud whitish stuff will come out with a hand buff. There is a few scratches - which been a old dust cover that gives them character thanks again for tips..

Try Meguiar's PlastX plastic cleaner and polish, available at auto supply stores. I have used this product to remove haze, swirl marks and tiny scratches from turntable dustcovers and other clear plastic surfaces, and have them looking like new.
