Budget power amplifier: Marantz MM7025?

Hi!
I went to the salesperson who sold me my LSiM705 describing my issue of a certain lack of dynamism and impact at low volume using my NAD326BEE, and also that kind of "compressed" mid and high I get on certain tracks, especially when there are a lot of instruments at the same time.
I have been offered a Marantz MM7025 power amplifier for $475 (brand new with 30 days demo period). While I was in the store, I wasn't able to find a lot of information about that amplifier on the Internet.
I googled, but to no avail: It has little to no reviews from buyers (mostly positive... but some are using Bose speakers or were mating this to an entry level receiver), and no professional reviews despite being a product that came 3 or 4 years ago. I do understand it's not part of their Reference series, and it does not pretend to, but would it be an interresting upgrade at this price, meaning it would increase my SQ at low volume or normal listening level, or would it be a waste of money as I would need a beefier (150w and more) and higher quality amp to get anything more than my NAD can actually give me even if I rarely set the volume higher than 80dB?
There are some things I do not like in the specs when compared to my NAD326BEE: 105dB signal to noise ratio (but they do not specify if it's at rated power or 1w) and a higher TDH. Also, it's not 4 ohms compatible, but I do not expect to have 4 ohm speakers anytime soon.
Still, I would use my NAD326BEE as a pre-amp, and the MM7025 as the power amp. Yay or nay?
