********** TRADED **********

I'm looking to trade my preamp or amp for your receiver. The receiver can be 2-channel, in fact its preferred. I need at least 75 watts/rms, nothing more than 5 yrs old in 8/10 or better physical condition, 10/10 electrical condition. Here's what I have:

Yamaha CX-600U Preamp:

- New condition, opened box but never used
- Manual, remote included
- Was purchased brand new on ebay about a month ago ($290.00)

OR:

Soundcraftsmen PM-840 stereo power amplifier: (Click for pics)

- If amplifiers were tools, this sucker would be an ANVIL
- 9/10 condition physically, 10/10 electrically
- Believe it or not; original manual, hand-tested/written spec sheets INCLUDED
- 205 watts/rms @ 8ohms, 410 watts/rms @ 4ohms, WILL drive a 2 ohm load
- THD less than .05% @ rated output
- SN ratio >108dB
- 20-20kHz +/- 1dB
- Slew Rate 130uv
- Non-current limiting Class "H" design, runs cool (Soundcraftsmen holds the patent on this)
- Power led, tru-clip led's for each channel
- 5-way binding posts for 1 set of speakers
- Was purchased new in 1987 ($499), I'm the original owner

The trade will be one of these for your receiver (CONUS only, sorry), we both pay our own shipping expenses. It will be packed to withstand a nuclear blast, please do the same. Let me know what you have, best offer gets the deal...

I've got a Kenwood KRV-8070 (I think that's it) in the box sitting in the closet. It's a DPL unit, around 6 years old (again, I think--possibly over your 5 year limit), used for about 3 years. I think it's rated 120wpc. Not sure if you'd be interested and, frankly, I'm not familiar with that amp or preamp so I'm not sure I'd be interested!

Receiver's almost like new. Let me know if you want to talk or want pictures.

edit: I just took it out of the box to look at it. Easily 8/10. In fact I can't see any cosmetic blemishes at all. I have remote and manual and original packaging. Power is 120Wx2 in stereo or 100 x 3 in pro logic. Pre outs, binding posts, etc..
