Hello friends,

Last year Polk had 50% off their speakers and I got myself a pair of RTiA7 and a CSiA4. I have an old Yamaha DSP A1 but I don't think it has enough power to drive the Polk. I have been looking for a used 2 or 3 channels amplifiers to power my new RTiA7 but still haven't find a decent one at the price I want to pay, I might consider to go new. I am looking at the Vincent Audio - SP-331 Hybrid and Parasound - 2250v2, both are about the same $$, however the Para has more power. Between the two, which one do you think would go better with my RTiA7. 50/50 Audio/Video. Thank you!

I haven't heard the model polks you have but I own a DSP-A1, although not in current use, that had no problem driving SDA-1C's at pretty high levels. The A1 is a decent integrated.

Since purchasing the RTiA7 last year, today is the first time I had a chance to hook up the speaker to the DSP-A1. I kept my Dahlquist DQ8 for the right channel and the RTiA7 for the left channel. This is my first impression: the old Dahlquist DQ8 blows away the RTiA7. I don't know if the Polk needed to be broken in or if the DSP-A1 was under power. I will post this on the speaker section to see if anyone has any input.

Who says they aren't? I guarantee that those who the sale was intended for are the only ones who get to use it though. It still annoys me that everyone thought that was a public sale.

No reason it should annoy you. It would just be nice if those of us who want to purchase during such a good sale would have the opportunity to do so..
