PSW150 Worth Buying?

Looking to pickup a PSW150 off craigslist for $65, just wondering if it's worth picking up such an old sub. I see a lot of buzzing/driver issues with it. And it's not just the money but curious if it's worth spending time on it to deal with repairing it if it does fail. Thanks

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Heck I think even if it was free it may end up being a pain.

Obviously I am very late to this party, but still thought I should share my experience... I own one and in testing it replicates as low as 20Hz. I have never had a problem with it other than the cone releasing from the rubber surround (due to age) and that was an easy repair. I cannot speak about buzzing/driver issues as mine has never had any issues (other than noted above). I think people are too quick to regurgitate what they read in a 5-minute Google search without any firsthand experience. If that one on craigslist was working, you missed out on a great performing sub for peanut money.

The PSW150 if memory serves, isn't able to go down to 20hz. Many here, being a Polk forum, have had this sub and many would not own it again. Especially for music, but HT in a small to midsize room may be acceptable to some.HT SYSTEM-
