Hi guys,
I've noticed a trend with the spam posts lately. I've signed on the last few days and there have been some spam in the forum with multiple views but not reported posts. Could we ALL police the forum and get this stuff irradiated as soon as we see it? Or if you are reporting it, state that you have underneath the offending post. (within the thread) I don't want a repeat of last fall...

I've got to wonder what's up with this gobbly **** they post.
I can only assume they're hiding info in the message field?

How or who do we actually report the post to? I mean I can obviously post REPORTED under the spam post but is the a link somewhere on the CP site that I need to go to , to report the spam to a moderator?I usually hit the report link and do it, but resist posting reported. But I do nail a lot of em though. -

It's the triangle on the bottom left of post. Click that and it sends the mods a message. the only problem with leaving comments after reporting the offending spam post is that the person leaving the comment has also been banned when the mods flush the thread.The Gear... Thats normally if they Quote the post they reported (like I just did)....

I've been banned by accident, but it's been awhile.
I believe the mods are paying closer attention to who they should ban.
They've had plenty of practice.
I know this year I report at least a couple of posts a week.

I was banned for about 3 days when I reported spam. It was agony!
