OK, I can start a thread and reply to posts.
I was going to try posting a picture, but I guess I can figure that out later. I'm anxious to start talking to everybody - I have a TON of questions!! -
yup - you are powerful.
Next, try to post or link to an image!
..and welcome! -

Thanks, guys.
Where would I find instructions for posting pictures etc.?
Thanks, -
best bet, IMO... use a photo posting service such as Flikr, Google, or Photobucket (best deal is Flikr for my "money" -- a terabyte of bandwidth for free). Both sites have copy'n'paste text in the proper syntax for a VBulletin bulletin board such as this one or audiokarma.
Here's what it looks like on Flikr:

Next bet, if you're replying - hit the "go advanced" tab and use the "Manage Attachments" button... this will let you upload and insert an image direct from your computer, but it hasn't been working "right" recently; although it may work fine if the image file is small enough.
If you know the URL of your image (i.e., it's out there -- somewhere -- on teh webs), you can embed it in "IMG" tags: [*IMG*] http://linky.linky.link[*/IMG] and it'll show up. (Leave out the asteriks -- I just put them there so you could see the syntax; "linky.linky.link", of course is the URL pointing to the JPG of interest).
The IMG tags are used above with a link to a photo I have on photobucket at:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v223/mhardy6647/surplus/DSC_6965_zps1c2a2ade.jpg
You may or may not see it - because photobucket gives "only" 10 GB of free bandwidth per month... and mine is about used up :-P -
Thanks mrh, I'll give it a try:
hmmm, not working - I think i did what you said and put in [*IMG*].....[*/IMG*] around this URL: http://www.polkaudio.com/products/tsx550t
No picture - what am I doing wrong? -
AHA! It helps to use the URL, of an actual image. D'oh!
Thanks! I'll get to work setting up on Flikr. -
Lookin' good :-)
