I have a pair of these that I haven't used in a couple of years that I decided to hook up today just for something to do. I am surprised at how good these sound. Can't remember why I quit using them. I love experiencing something new with stuff I already own.

I've got 1C's and 5jr's in addition to these. I need to pull the 5's out and play them next. Have another couple of hours before firing up the grill.

I bought 7s new when they had the fuse at the back and dreamed of 10s. They're long gone now but found 7s (SL2500) and RTA12s w/i weeks of each other recently and have loved getting to know the classic Polk sound again.

I remember really wanting these back in 1987 or '88. I was stationed at Ft Knox, newly married with a small child, and there was no way I could afford them on a privates pay. Nice to have now.

Speakers are like cars...they are meant to be driven...not to just sit...those 10b's to this day will still out perform anything up to the mid 2k range...if they are driven right,it is hard to beat the sound they produce...

After 35 years I still love my 10a's. In fact when I bring home other speakers (SDAc's, RTA12c's etc) my wife even says" so the 10's aren't good enough anymore???

My first Polks were 10B's purchased from Dorokusai. Their still my favorites (I even drove to New Jersey to pick up a second pair).
