Very clean gfa 5800

250 watts at 8 ohm nelson pass design.

clean clean clean amp, no discoloration on any components visible with top off, both fans work fine.

I have been playing cds on this system for about 6 hours, sounds great, might try to hook it up later to some bigger speaks to see how it does when pushed, but it all seems to be in excellent working condition, the amp is exceptionally clean outside, the other two are very clean outside, with what i would call light normal expected wear.

Ship is no problem, just remember this amp is 60 lbs.

I would only charge actual ship plus packing.

I like to use spray foam insulation, have had great results every time, except for one time when a polkie thought there were packing peanuts that had melted into a blob, and was frantic that his adcom gfp750 was ruined, not kidding.

Btw, the monster power center is not for sale, however if someone is interested in my sweet kappa5s with refoamed woofs, let me know.

What got me was he was well aware what packing i was using and still flipped the hell out, BTW, the pre arrived in perfect shape.

Here are some pics of the packing job for the amp, it is tentatively spoken for by trav0810, just want to show the process.

Thanks Stuwee, you informed me long ago this was a good way to go to pack nice gear.

BTW, this involved 30 bucks worth of Foam and box.

The air bags were here, but cardboard and newspaper you have lying around the house could also be used to pad the corners.

I use the big gap filler, and believe me, every inch of space will be filled inside that box by the time it cures, about 24 hours.

Lighter, less expensive gear could be packed with crushed newspaper, cardboard etc, you have around already.

but a 60 LB. 600 dollar piece deserves the little extra money and effort.

But sure beats a damaged amp, claim hassles.

I have seen those and you are right, If i wa in a more populate area, and was thinkin i could do a lot of buyin and selling, that would be the way to go.

I bought a GFA-555 from Scotty and when it arrived, it took me about 45 minutes to unbox it... I was cussing him the whole time until I stopped for a minute and realized that it was an ingenious method of packaging.

Great seller here folks. And all around good guy.

The adcom pre and cd are still up at 75 each, very clean, seldom used, smoke free, pet free samples.

Good deal brother, someone is going to be very happy with their 75 dollar purchase, BTW, if anyone would like some naked pics"The pre and CD player" let me know, I will pop the top.

Also, Dawgfish gifted me a denon 2900 among many other audio items, I was wondering if maybe i should not cough up the 75 for this cd player, any thoughts on SQ alone, of course the denon is a dvd and such also, but just as far as SQ, how would anyone stack up the adcom.

She has a big plastic bin full of remotes, because of space issues, i drove off without it, I will try to ferret out that one, but i cant guarantee.

let me know if its a deal breaker, if its there, whether before or after apossible purchase by you or anyone, I will send you the remotes for anything i am selling from this mans collection.

it can be easier if you put down garbage bag first on top of the bag the player or whatever is in as then you could lift it right out instead of cutting it out. kinda like filling a garbage bag with the foam.

The units are actually double bagged with, "Usually, two of my glad fragrant kitchen garbage bags".

Not only ease of unpacking, but a potpourri upon opening.

Still a **** to get to, but not nearly the pain when you open a damaged piece
