I am planning to upgrade the binding posts on several of my speakers and I want to replace the wires from the binding posts to the crossover board. I am looking for suggestions in regards to brand, gauge etc.

Since it's such a short distanced why not splurge a little. One choice is Ohno continuous cast copper with Teflon insulation. You can possibly find it on ebay, or buy some here: http://www.vhaudio.com/wire.html . I've done business with VH Audio for years and can verify that they're a stand up company.
