Recommended Integrated Amplifier for LSIM 703?

Hey,
I currently have RTi A1s with an old (but very good) stereo amplifier that's rated for 70 wpc. For the purposes I'm using it now, it is quite satisfactory, and there is no shortage of volume. However, I know that if I get a modern integrated amp, I should be able to push my A1s more. In searching for an amp, I upsold my self and now want to upgrade to the 703s. However, I have no experience with these speakers and have not found any solid recommendations for a matching integrated amplifier. If I were to choose these speakers, would something along the lines of the Marantz PM6005 (45 wpc) be adequate to drive these rather large bookshelf speakers? If not what would be best suited for these? I like the fact that the PM6005 have an optical input and a good DAC - these features would be a huge bonus in any new integrated amp.
Thanks for your help and recommendations.

I have the Marantz PM7002 (95 watts/channel) driving my LSi15s. While adequate, I do not consider them to be a good match. I hooked up the Polks to an Acurus DIA-100 100wpc integrated amp. While the Acurus is only 5-watts more than the Marantz, the Acurus has a much beefier power supply. The dynamics and volume from the Acurus is a lot better than the Marantz. The Acurus also has tighter bass than the Marantz.
That said, I think the PM6005 will be barely adequate compared to a decent amp. You might consider the Acurus DIA-150. It has a lot more power than the DIA-100 and both can be found for a relatively low price. The DIA-100 was considered to be a good amp in Stereophile. -
Tons of well built good sounding integrated's out there. I like the Cayin a50t, but there's just soo many. A used MF integrated may suit you but not many have built in dacs of all the good ones. under a g-note anyway. Have a certain budget in mind otherwise we are just pissin' in the wind here.HT SYSTEM-

I'd suggest you go with the PM8005 instead of the PM6005. You'll appreciate the extra power and better build quality.Political Correctness'.........defined

I have a Yamaha CA-2010 that makes those speakers sound great. Of course I also have a Sony STR-7045 that also sounded fine driving those 703's. Considering that it seems most everyone here seems to tell me you need gobs of power to drive these I guess those high price modern amps must have 'Lite' watts since they seem to be less driving.
