I am trying to gage interest to see if anyone would be interested. I live 10 miles north of Scranton Pa. This is only cash and carry. I would rather not ship. First up is a very good 7 speaker system for home theater on a budget. These speakers are all in
excellent condition, all black and would make an excellent starter home theater. They are from Sony. I am selling Sony SS-F7000's mains, SS-CN5000 center, SS-F5000 rear floor standers and SS-B3000 book self speakers for rear center on a 7.1 system.
The only speaker you need to complete a total 7.1 system is a sub woofer. The price is $450

Second speakers are the ADS 810 all wood cabinet speakers they are 4 ohm. They are excellent all around speakers. Price $300

Third set are the Advent U4 speakers they are the large Advents and have been refoamed. They are in excellent condition. I
would rate them 9 out of 10
Price $150

If anyone has any interested please let me know. I will try to post pictures.

Here are some pictures of the ADS 810's. On one of the speakers the ADS badge is missing. Other than that they are in good
shape. They sound excellent and handle all kind of music very well. They may be the original 810's series. I know later versions came with the metal mesh front covers.

Advent did not make a model called U4. That is part of the serial number. Are these the Original Large Advent (masonite woofer) or the New Large Advent? Are they vinyl or walnut veneer? Inquiring minds want to know. Photos will the grills on and off would help immensely.

They do not have the masonite woofer. They are the newer Large Advent. They have been refoamed and are in excellent condition. They are walnut veneer. I will try to take some pictures tonight.

I think the large Advent that had the vinyl covering
were also referred to as Utility Advents.
As always I could just as easily be wrong LOL

That's probably what the U4 means. I bet they are the Utility Advents. They are walnut in color. Nice speakers either way.

Here are a couple of picture of the Advents I had. I will try to take pictures of the speakers without the grilles.

The ADS L810 was one of my favorite pairs of vintage speakers and I regret selling them a couple of years ago. No other speaker of mine had the physical impact that they had...they would literally punch me in the chest.

Those look like the Utility (vinyl covered) Advent mentioned previously.
