These are very heavy for their size, and if you know Virtue Audio, these are high quality. They don't make them anymore, and I have two for sale. They come with AC adapter and remote, and the different inserts to seat various devices. THEY WILL NOT CHARGE YOUR IPOD. $30 shipped each - available June 18th

    Thanks john. I'll check. I think maybe it was no iPhone charging but iPod would charge? Maybe that makes sense, I'll test with wife's iPhone and see if I can find our iPod.

    Guessing the 5th gen ipod's will not work on this dock?

    Won't charge anything newer than Gen 3 unless you hook up the bypass jack in the back to a charging source

    Not sure if Virtue means the included AC adapter; I'll have to ask.

    I can't find the adapter. Should work to play music as the same adapter worked on my car system (FM transmitter for iPhone 4).

    Heading back to USA tomorrow. Any interest?

    You still have these two? Did you ever confirm weather or not they charge a regular iPod when connected? Interested.

    I have them, but they do not charge while in the dock. There may be some DIY workaround. I haven't checked.

    I just started using a 2008 iPod given to my wife. Honestly, I love dragging files onto with J. River in Windows, and the battery life just blows me away. I've only ever used my iPhone. iPod has been coming in the car every day and on plane rides. Solid device, and I think I'll skip the Geek Wave or A&K etc and keep my mobile rig simple...for now.
