The amp I'm using in my system now is an Adcom 5802 which is a non-common ground amp. Is strapping the neg terminals the only way to use this amp with SRS's (which are blade/blade)? If so, would 12 gauge speaker wire (that's what I have laying around) be alright to use- or any other suggestions? Are there any SRS speaker mods that would allow the use of the Dreadnought (AL-Y236906) I just built for my CRS+ speakers?

IIRC, some Adcom amps you can strap and some you can't. Do a search here.

    No.

F1nut- When I was buying these speakers, in the back of my mind I was thinking about amp compatibility. But looking at the speakers, I was like a deer in the headlights- mesmerized and there was only one choice.
