What is a reasonable price for CRS+ speakers with stands? There is a pair not too far away that has been on local CL for several weeks now. Based on pics they look to be in excellent condition

Considering those are not the original CRS stands but they do come with the interconnect, you have to ask yourself this question, how often do you see these in your neck of the woods? If you really want them offer him $250 and see where it leads.Home Theater

Just mild interest on my part, was more curious what they were worth since they hadn't sold yet.

Overpriced.
I sold mine without stands for $200 after posting for few weeks.

Id say those look pretty good. Stands look cheesy/tipsy. If they were up here id offer him 200-250.00 because id love to have them..

If they are in as good a shape as they appear, I don't think $300 would be unreasonable. Those look immaculate, but pictures can be deceiving.
I don't think $300 is all that bad, either. They look to be the wood veneer version, not the less desirable (at least to me) vinyl-clad version. -
I bought a pair of the bay about 6 months ago without stands for 300.00. The only reason I bid on them is he was local and I didn't have to pay for shipping. They are in about the same condition as these. Good luck!HT: LSI15, LSIC, LSIFX, Emo XPA-3:biggrin: Onkyo TXNR809, Sony BDP-S500, PannyDMP-BDT320, MIT S1 SC. Mit 73842dlp

good advice, its up to what it is worth to you, all things considered. I would pay that much if they were in good shape but thats just me. -

On the one hand, $325 for CRS+'s does sound a bit high. I sold my original CRS+'s for $200, bought 2B's for $200, and bought 1C's for $250.
However..... I also bought another pair of CRS+'s from Sal. He had purchased a good amount of upgrade parts (Sonicaps, etc.) If you subtract the value of the parts from the total I paid him, it would come out to about $200 for the speakers. BUT.... The oak veneer was in rough shape, and let me tell you that it's a **** to get the veneer off. You have to sand it off. And then you have to pay for new wood veneer, install it, and then finish the wood. Would I have paid an extra $125 to not have to do that work and have that beautiful walnut that's on this pair? You bet. Pictures can be deceiving, but the veneer looks like it's in top shape. Worth the extra money to not have to do any woodwork.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance. -
Well they are no longer posted. Hopefully someone on here was able to pick them up.
