I want to see what format comes up.If this works we enter his den w/ appears to be olders 2s w/ 2 tweeters vinyl rap smaller than my 2BS and definately not sounding as as good. All powered by a Sony avr amp. Next the living room where he had some B&W on stands powered by some Yamaha amps. Finally takes me to the basement where there is a system of NHT speakers a Marantz and other gear. Then on to the big boys. The 1.2 TLs also powered by a Sansui Integrated multiple sources and for a cinder block basement sounded great. he had and Dr. Hardy will like this a mini collection of Yamaha silver faced amps and pres, Ymaha M-80? amps and all kinds of stuff. I was there for an Onkyo P3150v pre/amp to replace my old and dead P-301.Yes sound wise they are similar but it had the motorized volume control and and from not wanting to split these up to selling me the pre for $ 70 was worth the hour trip.

All I see are links to JPGs hosted at Photobucket.

    Lemme try something, though :-)

(needless to say), I like the Yamaha :-)

Lots of knobs, switches and buttons on that quad Marantz...

Hey Mark,I got some E-mails a while back saying you thought you used one of my shots. Yes you did and I think i told you it was fine to take it out of PhotoBucket as I was/am still struggling possting type and quantity of pictures. It seems they give you 4 choices of how to paste and send pix. Now one just lets you do 1 giant shot and most of the time that's not ok. this time I tried direct and it seemed to copy all the pix I wanted. If you notice there's one of the Yamahas I was talking about that you apparently like a lot, he had like 5 more scattered around the house. Some of the other E-Mails was way over my head and I had no idea of what you were talking about. At least this worked and I got out the shots I wanted,
    1st---E-Mail & IM

    2nd ---Direct

That "IMG" option will give you just what you need to post a photo here or at other forums using the "V-Bulletin" software (e.g., audiokarma).

(this one's at Flikr, but it uses the same syntax as the Photobucket IMG option... with some other twaddle added - i.e., the link to my account)

I am kind of passive-aggressively boycotting Photobucket because of their severe bandwidth limitations on free accounts... yeah, I realize that I am "looking a gift horse in the mouth"! ;-)

Flikr provides 10x the bandwidth for the same low, low price, of free.
