Ultra Focus 6000's, red light

Listening to tunes at work, the normally blue light on the battery box is blinking red and I don't have my documentation handy to find out what it means. There's nothing to download on the website either (for shame Polk Audio!)
So, anybody know what it means?
I'm hoping it's just a low battery indicator.
