Where is the best place(s) to install black hole 5 in a CRS+ speaker? I seem to remember reading a post stating that the left and right sides (about an 8" square) are the best, but I can't find that post now. Any help would be appreciated.

Correct. Toolfan66 recomended it but I don't have the post reference. I upgraded the SDA inductor and because of the size/placement could not do 8"x8". I opted for 6x8 and it sounds good.

I used Sonic Barrier, but same idea. Left and right sides:

Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Sonic Barrier is not the same as Black Hole, by most accounts not as effective.

Didn't say it was the same. I said it was the same idea. It's been pretty effective for me....
