Thanks, Ken, for sharing. -
The Lyrec company continued making well respected tape recorders, they plus Otari and Tascam were the last. A few show up on eBay every blue moon, I'd love to have one.

Hello,
Enter "The Electric Recording Company" in your search window, then select "films" from their home page. There are three short videos, one about the tape recorder and cutting lathe used in the process. The second is about the records that they make from the original master tapes using their tube recorder and lathe. The third one is about finding a 1950's era printing company to make the record jackets and the level of duplication in the type, card stock and art work they use.
The people behind this project are pretty eclectic and hopefully there might be some interesting jazz recordings they might produce.
Cheers, Ken -
Thanks Ken, work must be blocking that part of the site. I will try it from home.Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)
