I really don't know the difference between the RTi800 and the RT800 speakers. I have the RT800. Also I've seen an "i" attached to other speakers like mine. Also I have the RTFX surrounds but I have seen a 30 attached to the name to in this forum. What's the difference? Is this a good place to ask if anyone has a set of RTFX to sell? I'm new to this forum, bought my Polks in 2000 and love em.

There's supposed to be a few small changes that might have an effect on performance, but nothing that should cause you to want to upggrade from the non-"i" to the "i" model. The most visible changes are the wood veneer on the outside and the blue cones on the drivers. Same thing with the RTfx's: No major difference. You might try the flea market forum, if you haven't already.

    Welcome to the forum!
