What are everyone's opinions? Are they good? Bad? Should I replace them with a new version? They are in my RTA15TL towers.

I switched over to the RDO198 after having one go out on my 15 tower and I definitely noticed more laid back sound. The highs are a lot ...
smoother if that helps. for what its worth, if I ever have to replace one of the tweeters on my new to me
11t towers Im definitely switching over to the rdo198.

Not that the sl3000 tweeters are bad, I just find the 198 to be MY preferred tweeter.

I like mine too. I've seen a lot of hate on the SL2000. Didn't know if the SL3000 was on that hate list. Mine have survived beatings from unsupervised younger cousins...they sound just fine though(luckily).

The SL3000 is a much better tweeter than the SL2000 ever was, but the RD0198-1 is a marked improvement compared to the SL3000.

The 11Ts came with SL-2000 tweeters and the direct drop-in replacements would be the rdo194s.

Enough to justify the money to replace 2 perfectly fine tweeters?

I replaced six perfectly good SL3000's in my speakers, then sold them along with another dozen+ I had as spares.

Thanks. How much could/should I sell them for if I'm so inclined to do so.
