Just wondering your thoughts on which one to get I Finally got my money back from Samsung on my F9000. Also which is better Active 3D or Passive 3D? So which one should I get? Please view above link for comparisons.

    The Samsung would be the way to go for my money. I am getting the un75hu8550 to be the panel of choice for my HT room.

    Even though the F9000 left me not sure on Samsungs dependability issues this new one loses the connect box has HDMI 2.0 and the h.246 codec the Sony does also the Samsung has Active 3D where the Sony has Passive what is the difference John, and have you viewed both of these sets?

    I work for PaulsTV. We do not carry Sony for a few reasons I won't post here, but I can assure you the troubles you had with your 9000 are certainly not the norm. I prefer the passive glasses, but the 3d feature is not something I would use anyway.

    +1 on the Samsung, the outboard I/O is the way to go for future upgrades!
