OldmanSRS requested these, and I was curious, too. Since these are from my listening position, with room reflections, etc., I attempted to (nearly) match yesterday's plot of the 194s, but included a plot from today as the baseline.
Black s/b the 194s, red, the SL-2000s.

Thanks for the plot. I would have expected much more difference the way most everyone hates them. I guess there's more to hate than just the response.'65 427 Shelby Cobra

I isn't that peak at 12khz that is the issue. It is that the driver goes from being under the new driver from 1-3 kHz to being over it at 12khz. This makes it harsh sounding to some. The 194 is simply better balanced from bottom to top.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

Excellent point Mr. Gardner. I hadn't considered the matter from the perspective of the overall slope.

What distance were these measured from?
Distortion measurements may tell us more than just FR."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche -
Face,
these plots are from my listening position, so the distance is about 15 Ft.
I've moved on from the tweeters discussed in this post to the TL XO (tweeters only) and 198s. While I left the stock XO in place, so I could revert if needed, I'd really rather not return to the scene of that crime. I think this post already says all I wanted to say about the other tweeters. -
If you want a clean measurement of the tweeters, try from only 3' away. At 15', you're measuring the speaker and how it interacts with the room."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche
-
The standard is 1 meter, and then I'd have to at least drag them outside, since I don't know of any anechoic chambers in the area in the audio range. I was also concerned that 1 meter might be a bit short given the 3 tweeters. Lastly, my ears are usually at 15 Ft.
If I get around to posting what I just did, the picture will improve lots. -
You don't need to drag them outside, you can play with gating and also place a bass trap on the floor between the speaker and mic. You can also increase the distance to 2M to allow better driver summing."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Truth, though I don't have bass traps at the moment. I do use a 4x6Ft. panel of HF absorbers on the outside of each speaker - about 4Ft. away, but the room is almost 800 sq.Ft. without a wall on the right side of the speaker locations, other than the skinny stuff mounting the foam panels (Auralex 2in. wedges), and vaulted ceilings going the wrong way. I've only got the OmniMic2 from Dayton Audio, and I haven't found a gating control. It seems like it's kind 'a running open loop depending on the DVD, rather than some sort of tracking sweep generator. The 15 Ft. bit is why I only provided comparative measurements. -
Those plots are exactly how i would expect them to look, not enough from 1k-4k and to much above 10k especially at 12k.
That is why I have replaced all of mine with 194's.
