Or Colorado to be precise. What the heck does this mean on a PayPal overview of your account:
Apr 20, 2014 Payment Completed
Details Payment From xxxxxxxxx 9LP07774SE062454B Cancelled, Issue refund
The "Cancelled" is listed under ORDER STATUS HEADING.....the ISSUE REFUND is a link to refund money to the buyer (which is not happening since the speakers are sitting at the USPS facility after a delivery was attempted).
The CANCELLED showed up after the speakers were payed for and shipped.....hmmmm.
Can someone simply just attempt to cancel a Paypal payment after purchasing something on EBay?

Sure they can. But you need to respond to it at once to prevent it from happening. Otherwise you could lose the speakers, and the payment. Even if you have to unwind the deal you still might get robbed of the shipping fees that you already covered.
File a dispute with Ebay and paypal right away. YOU still might be able to force them to give you back all your selling fees, shipping and packaging costs and so on. Don't wait even an hour to file it. -
I know how bad it sucks, I just lost $55 for shipping a preamp to this one A hole who made a fake claim about the unit I sent him. He basically told me that he liked the unit but he wants money back. I said no and you can have a refund but he filed a paypal claim. I asked paypal to prove there is something wrong and now I loose out on the shipping.

Well, here's the rub. I have to actually refund the money in my account, which you can do up to 60 days.
So, what would I be disputing (playing devils advocate) since I have the money in my account. If he goes and picks up the speakers tomorrow at the PO, all is well. I have communicated 2x's with tracking number information....he may be playing a game, maybe not... -
