Polk PSW10, Csi5, Fxi5

For sale are several Polk speakers. I do not have any of the original boxes or manuals, but will ship and pack very well. Buyer pays shipping. Pick up is always preferred (Chicago area). See pictures at:

First is a PSW10 sub. 10" driver, 100w. Grill is clean and free of snags with a little wear at two corners. $50

Next is a Csi5 center channel. Small scratches in one spot on top, but otherwise in excellent condition. Grill is clean and free of wear or snags. $150

Last is a pair of Fxi5 surround speakers. Minor scratches on the mounting brackets, but otherwise in excellent condition. Grills are clean and free of wear or snags. $250

Can't believe there's no nibbles for a black pair of Fxi5 surrounds for $225? They really are in great shape and sound awesome. Cloth grills are in excellent condition too.

I know my bumps aren't as interesting to look at as Rick88's, so I'll just keep posting in quantity to make up for the lack of amusement......

I've only ever used the Classified section here to gauge used prices and to familiarize myself with brand names. I've never bought or sold anything before. But I unexpectedly purchased mufsoman's CSi5. Since this place doesn't have a feedback system, I wanted to take the time to post a positive review on this purchase. He posted ample amounts of photos, we came to a fair price, had great communication, double boxed the speaker and supplied me with tracking numbers. Speaker arrived yesterday and I gave it three hours of listening time. The area that had scratches on the top near the rear, tucked underneath my TV and is completely hidden as I had hoped.

So far, I've been extremely lucky purchasing audio equipment on Craigslist, but it does come with risk and sleepless nights worrying if I'm about to buy a lemon. But this was an easy, simple, and stress free transaction. The only thing that could have made it better is if he had used $100 bills as stuffing inside the box.

Thanks for the positive feedback Hermitism!!!! I spent two hours packing up that speaker and grill to protect it from the UPS gorilla's. Glad to hear it made it well. Enjoy

The wood slats you used to pack the grill made perfect shims to go under the front of the speaker to raise the angle. And they were already cut to the appropriate length. High-five!

For some reason I thought these were sold as I had these on the back burner to other purchases. Despite all the fancy Martin Logans, klipsch and gallo reference speakers I have I still find myself really missing the full rti setup for video games and movies in the spare bedroom.

I still have the PSW10 sub, but not holding my breath on a sale of this. Good little sub, but not a big mover in the used equipment market.... Let me know if anyone is interested.
