Have for sale a Parasound 7100 Preamp in excellent condition. No scratches. Comes with universal remote that is pre programmed for the 7100.The original remote haves some segments missing from the display but is
fully functional and readable or you can use the universal RF30 remote which is in perfect condition and programmed for the
7100 and use it to control other devices.
Comes with power cord, two remotes and printed pdf copy of the owners manual and original box.
Parasound is a excellent company and this is a great way to get into seperates. This is a excellent sounding preamp that is THX
Ultra 2 certified.
Only reason I am selling this is because I have the Parasound Halo C2 preamp. I will guarantee this to be in excellent condition
and have sold many things here before. Local pickup is welcomed! I am asking $250 plus shipping. I will eat paypal fees.

I have this unit and a C2 also. I wish I saw yours first though before I got my 7100, which was secondary purchase. yours is in better shape than my slightly worse off one with its few scratches, and has the extra remote and factory box!
I really like these Parasound controllers. FYI, I think all those remotes display have faded display segments; mine came with a brand new remote and some segments started to fade shortly after I began using it.
Anyone considering one of these, this is an absolutely excellent price; they go regularly on Ebay for $400+ in this condition, sometimes that price for worse condition.I disabled signatures. -
Thanks MSG...... It appears that you and I are big fans of Parasound which I believe if I put this on ebay I will find many other fans.
This universal remote is a nice remote and there is nothing wrong with it and the original remote works fine. Like you said these segments go out but it never stopped me from using it. The reason I have two and including them both is because I misplaced my original and went out and purchased this universal. Do not have the manual for the universal(should be able to find online) but it was programmed for the Parasound and worked great.BTW, none on Ebay or even Agon will be seen for this low price with the two remotes and the excellent shape it is in. I will leave it on here and see who might be interested. I will throw in a free used pair of 1m Morrow MA1 IC's. There cheap but there free!!!

What is the bass management like on this preamp?
You can set the main speakers to large or small. Small setting will have all the bass below a certain frequency that you can set go to the subs. So you can set your bass crossover frequency say 80,70, 60, 90 ,80, 100 HZ or whatever to redirect bass to your subs instead of to your fronts.. I personally set my big Martin Logans to small and had all the bass below 80HZ go to my two subs. I think you can set the crossover bass at 5 HZ increments.
It also have a sub filter on so you can filter that frequency to your subs on the 7100 in case your subs do not have a filter. Setting it off would let your sub do the filtering.
It haves a special option called enhanced bass so that it sends the LFE signal to both the sub and to both mains (if set to large). This creates a significant amount of bass if you wish. It has everything I think you would need for bass management

Okay, NP.... To get into seperates and get a processor at this price being a Parasound I think it's a great deal. I will keep it listed here till Monday then move it on to somewhere else so let me know if there is any interest. Just want to give Polkies here first shot here at this price. It is in excellent shape and haves two remotes. Originally retailed for close to $3K not long ago (2004-2009)HT System
