Schiit Valhalla Tube Headphone Amp

Well it's time for a complete headphone rig overhaul so I'm going to be listing a few things for sale. I'm gonna start with my Schiit Valhalla, a great sounding tube headphone amp in perfect condition.
This is an OTL design that's really intended to drive high impedance headphones. This amp works great with headphones like the mid to high end Sennheisers, Beyer Dynamic DT880 and 990 600 ohm headphones and really any other higher impedance headphones. It was not designed for planar or low impedance headphones, so HiFiMan and Audeze owners can skip this. It's also fairly neutral for a tube amp, so if you're looking for a super lush and liquid sounding amp you'll probably be better off with something like the WA3 from Woo Audio. Also, if you're into tube rolling then look elsewhere, this amp has a pretty simple design and uses just the one variant of tubes which can be ordered directly from Schiit.
If you've got the right cans though (and there are plenty of high impedance ones on the market) and are looking for a fairly neutral sounding tube amp and don't want to spend an arm and a leg, this is the one for you.
This amp has served me well, but it's time to move up the food chain and find a new home for my baby. I am the original owner, have all the original packaging and the amp is still under warranty. I don't have any pics handy, but will eventually get around to posting some if needed, she's in perfect condition though.

Received today as promised, well-packed and in perfect shape. This thing is a perfect match for the HD600's fed off the Dared pre. Quiet background, beautifully balanced, clean detailed top end, excellent soundstage. Big improvement over Asgaard. Couldn't be happier - I think I'm set on headphones for quite a while.
