It's that time of year, anglers. What are some of your favorite/successful lures?

Chartreuse and white clouser minnow, brown and tan coyote, or brown crawfish pattern on a fly rod. Top water will
be coming in good in a couple weeks. Can't wait for that!

Large mouth I like to get up early and use surface baits like hula poppers or fake weedless frogs, late morning Mepps #2 or 3s work best where I Fish. Small mouth A Mepps #2 or rooster tails my grandson caught a 6 1/2 pounder on a daredevil he was not FISHING for bass but Northerns, I will dig the Picture out of it good luck.

    Keep'm coming!

I'm defintely adding some frogs to my box this year (never used them before), and I want to try some poppers. I have mostly fished spin/buzz baits, and soft baits texas rigged. Booya Terminator has always produced well for me, as well as good 'ol beetle spins.

Yeah I have caught more fish on Bettle Spins than anything else. Here is what my Grandson thought was a northern he caught this one on a Daredevil. The Only reason we brought it home was because he thought no one would believe him and we had no cell phones or cameras with us.

    Does this bass count?

One day she took my check book off the top of our refrigerator and went shopping for her own rod. Off to see her buddy who owns Breach Way Bait and Tackle. Ron hooked her up with a pink rod, reel and everything she wanted.

Sooooooooooooooooooo Anne Marie caught this at the Charlestown Breach Way early one Saturday morning in the rain. Maybe a week after we picked up her new outfit which was pre-paid by yours truly. Funny thing is that striper is bigger than any striper I caught that year and she shared that information with everyone. You can see the plug she used to lure the striper and that pretty face is what she used to lure me in!

    Nice bass!! Abu for Life!!!

I went plastic 8 years ago and have never returned. Producto and Barlows have a place in my heart. Generally something in the 6 to 8 inch 3/8 oz pumpkin seed or watermelon in the am and jet black or dark purple and grey in the pm. Frogs are a must. Frogs Murder Bass is a good line. My favorite anyway. I find the rod makes a huge difference as well with those early season cold water taps. Lots of tons or you don't feel nothin'.
    Too much **** to list....

I sit on the shore with a fire and frying pan waving a 10 dollar bill for anyone coming in with some nice fish. No rods and reels, no lost lures, no boat, and no bugs. Works for me.
