Dreadnougth Interconnect Cable Suggestions

Which "reasonably priced" cable/wire is recommended for the interconnect? I have read somewhere that DK used Monster Z2 (I believe) in one of his builds, but I can't find that available anywhere. Also I read that MIT cable was used but was very hard to work with. I was thinking any OFC 10-12 gauge speaker cable might work. The SpeakOn NL4FX connectors specs state that the ID of the collar is 14.5mm- so I would say the OD diameter of the wire would have to be around 14mm. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

We use a lot of DH Labs T-14 cable and find it outstand in resolution and detail. Might be less expensive alterative to others. http://www.silversonic.com/docs/products/T14.html

VR3 Mods (Trey) used Supra Rondo 2x2.5 (13 AWG) speaker wire in two sets of DreadNought interconnects that he built for me. I used Supra power cord in two double runs of power cords that I built. Supra wire, IMHO, is easy to work with, flexible and provides great sound.Family Room, Innuos Statement streamer (Roon Core) with Morrow Audio USB cable to McIntosh MC 2700 pre with DC2 Digital Audio Module; AQ Sky XLRs to CAT 600.2 dualmono amp, Morrow Elite Speaker Cables to NOLA Baby Grand Reference Gold 3 speakers. Power source for all components: Silver Circle Audio Pure Power One with dedicated 20 amp circuit to main panel.
Exercise Room, Innuos Streamer via Cat 6 cable connection to PS Audio PerfectWave MkII DAC w/Bridge II, AQ King Cobra RCAs to Perreaux PMF3150 amp (fully restored and upgraded by Jeffrey Jackson, Precision Audio Labs), Supra Rondo 4x2.5 Speaker Cables to SDA 1Cs (Vr3 Mods Xovers and other mods.), Dreadnaught with Supra Rondo 4x2.5 interconnect cables by Vr3 Mods. Power for each component from dedicated 20 amp circuit to main panel, except Innuos Statement powered from Silver Circle Audio Pure Power One. -
I just use Signal Cable speaker cables.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

It's not that hard once you learn how to work with it.The SpeakOn NL4FX connectors specs state that the ID of the collar is 14.5mm
That can be enlarged by removing the rubber collar. If that's still not enough the plastic retainer for the rubber collar can also be removed and if that is still not enough the metal end can be enlarged by using a Dremel with a grinding drum to a maximum of 21mm, which is what I did.
I highly recommend using speaker cable, preferably the same as you used to hook up your speakers. Interconnect cable or the like should not be used as the SDA cable is basically transmitting the same signals that your amp sends to the speakers.Political Correctness'.........defined

Tin plated OFC copper? (TIN) Really? Not my number choice but if that's your choice so be it. Straight high purity 99.xx+ copper either plated with silver or plane is what I find meets any decimating ear's pleasure zone. But then again I had people tell me there's no difference from ZIP cord either.
