Cord with Boom Mic

Receieved my mic yesterday...I am completely impressed with the cord...any chance of just putting that cord out for purchase without the mic once the firmware gets fixed? Much more sturdy and solid than the included cord...or can I purchase something like this now from somewhere? I'm a complete novice to this headset stuff. I only had a 12 year old Logitech one.

Sooooo....am I just being silly? Or can you use any 3.5mm cable? I love the sound...I don't like to talk.

You can use any 3.5mm cord. There's lots of nice options on Amazon and elsewhere.

Okay, I wasn't sure if there was a special one need for the voice as well if I'm not using the boom mic. Thanks for the info!

If you're not planning on using chat capabilities than pretty much any 3.5mm cable (male to male) should work. If however you decide you want to chat, then you would need a 4 pole 3.5mm cable (these are tougher to find but one would have been included with your headset).
