McCartney's new album streaming at MSN Listening Booth.
Listening to it now on MOG...
Don't know if it will be a popular choice with the McCartney hard-cores, but I like it. Very cutting edge. P-man, thanks for the offer, PM sent. Been listening to Tedeschi Trucks Live in my vehicle the last fews days. I went to their show a couple nights ago with a buddy and he also went to Milwaukee the next night. He emailed me this morning and said he talked to Derek outside the bus both nights after the shows (I rushed home the first night right after the show on account of driving to work the next morning very early) and he told me he had a good conversation about Dickie Betts playing with him recently. My buddy is a huge Allman Bros. fan so he's hopeful there will be a reconciliation in the works.

The Open Mind
Mind you my LP here is a re-issue and has the 1969 single "Magic Potion" included on it.
My favorite psychedelic track of the 1960'sThe band was formed in the mid 1960s by four musicians from Putney, South London. Initially named The Apaches formed by Tim du Feu, Mike Brancaccio and Philip Fox and their friend Ray Nye. Nye left in 1965 and another friend joined instead Terry Schindler. The band became The Drag Set, who released a little-known single in February 1967, "Day and Night" / "Get Out of My Way". Shortly thereafter, they changed their name to The Open Mind and in July 1969 released a self-titled LP which has since become a highly sought-after collectible. The band, however, is best known for its druggy August 1969 single, "Magic Potion", which did not appear on the album.
