Yep, I like to go in and try to lighten the mood at times... How are you tonight chumlie?

Thank you for that beautiful picture you posted (in the cable war thread) Rick! One of the best I've seen on Club Polk!

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

The Zappa plays Zappa DVD has both Dwezil and Steve Vai playing on it as well as Noplian Murphy Brock and Terry Bozzio which where all from Franks band as far back as 1973 I believe. The sound quality for a live DVD is outstanding and the band is unbelievably tight. I also got he chance to see Dwezil in June and a chance to see Steve Vai this past weekend (one of the best guitarist out there). If you purchase the audio CD, there's a few tracks missing compared to the DVD. I just picked up the 5 disc box set which contains all the audio CD'S and DVD. I would keep an eye out for the box set if you could get it for a reasonable price.

I have the DVD and ripped the audio from it to have it on cd for the car. If you haven't heard "Return of the Son Of..." you should get that as well. Great show in Chicago I think.
When we saw him in Nashville, Chester Thompson came out and did a jam with the band on drums. He is from wayyyy back in the Zappa days and still beats the crap outa the kit and does it very well. Also, Dweezil broke out the Eddie Van Halen Kramer guitar and did a few VH songs with a DLR look (and sound) alike. Very Cool!
