i listened to that version of whipping post the other day at concert volumes...the drums were incredibly inventive...surprisingly, duane's gtr comes up in the mix for only some key phrases...mostly, it was a betts' powerhouse of creativity..remember when fm stations would play this song??

Indeed i do. Back in the early 70's before they all got bought out by Clearchanel and the rest of the conglomerates. When they would play whole album sides. Now its top forty playlists. YUK

i remember the cool stations' dj's all sounded like stoners...they also had the chimes going on while they were talking and psychedelic sounds...i guess the biz model back then let them pay the bills in the morning and early pm..then at night it was time to kick back and enjoy uninterrupted tunes

Surrender Dorothy; Pop Musica (a regional band based in Blacksburg, VA. The drummer is an old high school buddy of mine.) I love listening to all of my recorded music, but we can't forget to support our local bands. The bars and clubs have some great music, if you find the right place, on the right night, it can be magical!Monitor 60 SeriesII

I'm only getting 15% of the audio on Americana cd. I-tunes is only 5%
Bluray has 100% and for you vinyl fans '' The only other place to get the quality audio is the vinyl Americana, which originates from the original audio masters. ''
