If your talking about Rubber Soul he's absolutly correct. One of there best. I have the remastered set in stereo. I'm thinking the original mono may even be better. Rick would know. I like all there music but Rubber Soul. Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road are must haves.

I recommend the non-remixed by George Martin, but mixed and produced by George Martin mix. The remixed Rubber Soul has completely the wrong tones for voices and instruments. It was mixed on a modern day (non-tube based) mixing console and sounds completely wrong. Actually, I prefer the U.S. version of the album (or Capitol version). The track list is better and as stated before is mixed with better tones.

And yes, this album is essential to your collection. Get the Capitol boxed set Volume 2. That's the best one to have, IMO.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
